With the FEC deadline nearly here, I'm sure your inbox is full of messages from campaigns asking you to help them reach their goals. So, before I ask you to help us reach ours, I wanted to share 5 reasons why you should invest in winning here: - I'm not a career politician. I haven't always planned on running for Congress. I didn't spend the last twenty years plotting my path to elected office. But we need sanity in Washington again. And it will take real people with real-world experience to bring it back. So I'm stepping up.
- I'm going up against a MAGA extremist. My opponent, Republican David Schweikert, has been convicted of ethics violations even as he votes to gut our healthcare and blow up the federal deficit.
- This race is a toss-up. From the Cook Political Report to Sabato's Crystal Ball, experts have rated our race a true toss-up heading into 2026.
- AZ-01 will decide the House majority. Republicans currently hold one of the narrowest majorities in history, so if we flip this seat, we're very likely to take back the House.
- This is our first test. After this deadline, we'll have to publicly report how much we've raised, and both sides will be looking at us closely to see the strength of our team.
