I'm sure your inbox is full of requests from campaigns ahead of the upcoming FEC filing deadline. So, before I ask you to pitch in to help us reach our goal, I wanted to share 5 reasons why your support matters so much to us right now: - This was one of the most expensive and competitive races last year. Over $40 million was spent right here in NY-19.
- Next year is going to be even tougher. Experts have already rated this a toss-up heading into 2026, and I've been named one of the most vulnerable incumbents in Congress.
- I'm fighting back. I've voted against the GOP's disastrous budget proposals, introduced bills that would make life more affordable for Upstate New Yorkers, and led efforts to hold Elon Musk and DOGE accountable.
- I'm a top target. Republicans know I won't stand by while they try to give more tax cuts to billionaires, so they're already running ads attacking me and doing everything they can to unseat me.
- This is our next test. After this deadline, our fundraising numbers will be made public, and everyone will be looking at us closely to see if we have what it takes to defend this seat.
