Just when I thought Marianette Miller-Meeks' betrayal of Iowa's 1st District couldn't get worse, she doubled down. She stood shoulder to shoulder with Trump's Energy Secretary, Chris Wright, as he railed against renewable energy.
This happened just months after Miller-Meeks voted for the so-called "Big Beautiful Bill," which wiped out billions in economic incentives for wind energy.
I left my job at a major law firm because they didn't have the backbone to stand up to Trump. I wasn't willing to stay silent then, and I'm certainly not going to now. Marianette Miller-Meeks has shown us who she is: someone who folds under pressure and follows the political winds. If she won't stand up now — when Iowa jobs, our economy, and our energy future are on the line — she never will.
Only 6 days remain until the FEC deadline, and Miller-Meeks will be watching our numbers. She thinks she can turn her back on Iowa and get away with it.
