Jason, Tennessee's election results last night served another warning to Republicans. A deep-red district in Tennessee that went +22 for Donald Trump in 2024 saw a 13-point Democratic shift. Republican Derek Schmidt might think such shifts won't touch him, but he has lost here before. In 2022, Schmidt was defeated in Kansas' 2nd Congressional District by a Democrat while running for governor. Schmidt isn't untouchable. Our state is pragmatic, not partisan.
