Before this year ends, I want to take a look back at what Republicans have put this country through this year, because we cannot afford a repeat in 2026.
First, they passed Donald Trump's Big Ugly Bill, a sprawling, cruel piece of legislation that slashed Medicaid, drove up health care costs, gutted nutrition programs, and handed billionaires another massive tax break. Mike Lawler not only voted yes, but praised the bill repeatedly.
Then came the shutdown. Mike Lawler and his GOP allies held the government hostage, refusing to do their jobs, and leaving millions of families terrified about losing access to health care, food, and essential services.
And all year long, families have paid the price. Food prices. Prescription drug costs. Housing. Utilities. Everything is up.
Meanwhile, Mike Lawler rubber-stamped every single piece of Trump's agenda that made it worse.
We can't do another two years of this. Next November is our chance to flip the House, and the path runs straight through NY-17.
This district is one of the most competitive in the country. It is one of only a few seats Democrats must win to take back the majority and finally put an end to this chaos. So, will you chip in today to help us defeat Mike Lawler and take back the House? |
