We recently marked a significant milestone in Elle's life: over Thanksgiving eighteen years ago, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
I never imagined that I'd be here.
But all the hospital visits, the sleepless nights worrying about Elle's safety, and working with those fighting for a cure have inspired me to work passionately and tirelessly to ensure that everyone has access to the care that they need and deserve. |
| This time of year always motivates me to keep fighting to make healthcare more effective and more affordable. It's more important than ever that we're in this fight together to make care accessible for all Americans.
