 | | Hi, Jason, it's Jonathan. You might be wondering how this kid... ...ended up here, running for the U.S. House of Representatives in one of the most competitive House races in the country! I grew up in a middle-class family. My parents worked nights and weekends to ensure my sister and I had what we needed. I started working at twelve years old and put myself through college — the first in my family to graduate. My union-member grandparents and enterprising parents taught me that everyone deserves a real shot at the American dream. I built my own small business from my living room into a company with more than 100 employees serving customers. Marrying profits with purpose, WithMe is green, hires veterans, and gives equity to every employee. Then, last year, I had brain surgery. It saved my life. But insurance fought me every step of the way. Without the Affordable Care Act, I don't know what I would have done. But just this week, Republicans in Congress refused to extend ACA subsidies – which will directly lead to millions of Americans' health insurance prices going up, forcing them to choose between their health and their home. I'm running for Congress to make sure no one has to make that choice. But I'm in a toss-up race and with our major public FEC deadline coming up, I need your help to show the strength of our campaign Will you make your first contribution to my campaign tonight?
