| Jason, Right now, about 70% of Latino voters disapprove of the president, largely because his administration's immigration and economic approach is harming the Latino community and our country. Latino voters are reflecting what we're all thinking: we need new leadership. We deserve a government that not only abides by the fundamental tenets of our democracy, but actually is by and for the people. With the passage of Proposition 50, that change is in reach for our community. The new CA-40 is more representative of the Latino community than ever before. 27% of the registered voters of the new district are Latino. Being the only Latino/a candidate in the race, I know that the Latino vote, combined with the 29% of voters who selected "No Party Preference" and the 31% of voters who identify as Democrats, means that we have a real chance to flip this seat and help take back the House. I've spent my career in the courtroom providing access to justice for the most vulnerable of our community and defending the right of individuals to have a fair shot. I know what it means to speak truth to power, and when I am in Congress, I'll be ready to stand up for each and every one of you. That's why I'm the strongest candidate to win this district. The people that I've worked with as an attorney know that when I say that I've got their back, I mean it. I don't cut corners, and I give it my all. I've worked hard to connect with as many people across CA-40 and let them know that I'm in their corner, but there are tens of thousands of people I still need to reach with my message. That kind of outreach takes resources. So, Jason, will you contribute $5 or $10 to my campaign today and help me connect with every voter in CA-40 so that I can tell them that I'm ready to stand with them and fight for them in Congress? With 2026 around the corner, we can't slow down for a single moment. |
