Jason, July was a busy month for Nellie, in Washington and back home in NJ-09. Here's a look back at what she's been up to: Cracking down on ticket scams. Nellie introduced the HOLDBACKS Act to stop the practices that leave fans paying much more for concerts and games than they should. Fighting for our hospitals. Nellie is protecting the healthcare New Jersey families and seniors depend on, and working to keep local hospitals open and fully funded. Celebrating our Peruvian community. Nellie joined four different Peruvian organizations from across the district to celebrate Peru's independence and NJ-09’s vibrant Peruvian community. Cleaning up our waterways. Nellie's bipartisan CLEAN-UP Act, which will help protect local waterways, was approved by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Investing in Passaic Ave. Nellie announced a major federal investment in the Passaic Avenue corridor to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. None of this happens without a team that shows up, and none of it continues without the resources to keep fighting through November.
If you believe in the work Nellie is doing, will you chip in today to help keep it going?
Thank you, Pou HQ
