Jason -- I lead a team of journalists who investigate and expose corruption for news organizations all over the world.
These anti-corruption investigations often require my colleagues to go undercover. But Jason, in American politics today, the corruption is right out in the open.
Take my opponent, GOP Sen. David Perdue. He has a donor program literally called "The Boardroom," whereby he offers corporate lobbyists an ornate menu of special access to the Senator -- for a price, of course.
For $7,500 a year, a "chairman" level corporate donor receives quarterly events with Perdue, a yearly resort retreat on the private island where the Senator lives, and an annual reception at Perdue's lavish island residence.
Jason, David Perdue's blatant pay-to-play corruption must end. Chip in $20 to help me defeat him. Jason, David Perdue's elite "Boardroom" donor events even take priority over his actual Senate work.
Last year, the Senate Armed Services subcommittee held a key hearing over substandard and unhealthy housing at military bases, including Georgia's own Ft. Benning.
Every subcommittee member was there -- except David Perdue.
While military families were testifying before his subcommittee about threats to their health and safety, David Perdue was at a "Boardroom" meeting wining and dining corporate donors and lobbyists.
Jason, I am running for Senate to clean up the mess that corrupt officials like David Perdue have made.
(And I hope it goes without saying that I won't skip out on committee hearings to sell favors to corporate donors. In fact, I'm refusing donations from corporate PACs and federal lobbyists.)
Jason, if you're ready for a Senator from Georgia who will fight corruption, please chip in $20 to my campaign >> If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | Together, we can get government working for the people again,
