Why? Because I am furious.
Right now, across the country, Republicans are racing to pass voter restriction bills to lower Democratic Voter Turnout and rig Elections in their favor.
The GOP is willing to strip away your right to vote so that Democrats never win elections in states like Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Arizona ever again. So if you're reading this email, I need you. I need 500 Democrats to donate to Let America Vote so that we can combat GOP Voter Suppression and ensure our Midterm Elections are safe and fair. Can you donate anything? Donald Trump said it himself: Republicans win elections when less people can vote. So now the GOP is trying to reclaim political control by rigging the system.
If we don't act now, voters will be silenced.
If we don't act now, the will of the people will not be heard.
