With Donald Trump threatening to run again, we need bold leadership in Congress that won't back down from big challenges or shy away from bullies who threaten our Democratic ideals.
As an attorney, I've taken on some pretty big fights – including challenging Donald Trump's Muslim Ban in the Supreme Court.
That ban was an attack on our country's values: it turned America's back on those in need, eroded our moral standing in the world, and made us less safe. I'm proud that I was part of the effort to take on Trump in federal court.
In Congress, I'll keep fighting back against attacks on our Democratic values, no matter what comes our way.

The good news is that a brand new poll today gave our campaign a 5-point lead here in NY-19.
But we can't take anything for granted. If there's one thing I've learned over the course of my career, it's that the most important battles are sometimes the toughest ones.
