In just an hour, the polls will close and we will begin to see results for our race here in New York's 19th Congressional District.
I'll have more to say in the coming days about what this campaign has meant to me, but I wanted to take just a moment now to say this: I am incredibly grateful for all you have done. This campaign isn't mine; it's ours together, and I'm humbled to have you as part of the team.
Whether you voted for me, volunteered your time to talk to your neighbors, or financially supported the effort, you helped make this campaign a hopeful, grassroots movement for change. You met the moment by engaging in our Democracy at a time when it might have been easier to retreat from it.
I hope to have the honor of serving my home in Congress — and enlisting you as a partner in delivering positive change in Washington.
