Jason, I'd like to wish you and your family a very happy holiday season.
While things slow down a bit, I'm taking time to think about all the — extremely important — work we did together this year to defend our democracy.
Working to shore up democracy here at home was not something I thought I'd be doing in 2022, and I'm guessing you feel the same way. But I'm so glad we launched this mission — because our efforts really mattered. Through The American SOS Project and Democratic Majority Action, we were able to fend off seditious actors from getting into positions of power over our elections. That is no small feat! We also helped create the conditions for continued Democratic control of the Senate — keeping Mitch McConnell in the minority for another Congress (another vitally important effort).
Thank you for being a part of that project — for our country, and for the world.
Where that work goes from here is something I'm thinking a lot about, and I'll have more to say on that front soon. But with the holidays approaching, I thought I'd take a minute today to update you on the most important mission in my life right now, my family:
