| Jason, Alaska Democrat State Rep. Ashley Carrick secured a major victory for reproductive rights in Alaska! |
| House Bill 17 allows Alaska women to pick up 12 months' worth of birth control at a time from pharmacies and requires insurance companies to cover prescription contraceptives without a co-payment. This bill will give Alaska's women more control over their own reproductive healthcare decisions–especially for those in rural parts of the state, where the barrier to birth control and other contraceptives is even more significant. At a time when abortion and reproductive rights are under threat from anti-choice extremists and simultaneously being strategically manipulated by sneaky conservatives, it's never been more critical to elect Democrats across the state who will fight to protect our reproductive rights in Alaska. We're working to build the largest grassroots team Alaska has ever seen so we can elect pro-choice champions across the state, but we can't do that without your support. Will you chip in $5 (or whatever you can!) to help us secure the necessary resources to ensure a pro-choice legislature in November? |
