Since it was enacted, the Antiquities Act has helped us preserve some of our most valuable natural landmarks, such as the sacred Nevada mountain, Avi Kwa Ame, to Bears Ears and Gold Butte. These beautiful landscapes and formations are vital to local ecosystems, and hold hundreds of years of cultural narratives and history, serving as monuments to both our nation and its origins.
