As a Gen-Z kid, I was always hopeful about building on the progress the generations before me had made and creating a better future where everyone, no matter who they are, could pursue their dreams and thrive.
Then Donald Trump happened. I never imagined Republicans would choose Gen-Z as their favorite generation to aim their attacks, but when Trump led the charge to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away our fundamental right to reproductive freedom across the country, the Republican threat to our future became all too real and clear, and it didn’t stop there.
They put profits over people, taking orders from their mega-donors like the Koch brothers. They are blocking any increase to a federal minimum wage, flat-out denying that our planet is facing an unprecedented climate crisis, and making it harder for young people to vote.
They sure as hell don’t care about the future of America.

Trump is the Republican nominee again in November, and his emboldened MAGA cronies call Gen-Z “stupid,” “weak,” and outright the “worst generation in US history.”
We won’t let them define us. In fact, as a Gen-Z voter, I’m more hopeful than ever now, because I know the truth and power of my generation.
Gen-Z is on track to become the most educated generation and an electorate turning out more than any 18-29 demographic ever has.
In 2022, Gen-Z turned out in droves, with 27% of voters 18-29 casting ballots, a second all-time high.
And in November, we will do it again — with the help of our multi-generational grassroots supporters, we will blow past the 30% turnout mark, show the momentum Gen-Z holds in our electorate, and help deliver the Senate, the House, and the White House to Democrats.
