This year's election will, once again, be won by small margins in a small number of states – so let me tell you why I'm obsessed with this pro-democracy audience. In most battleground states, pro-democracy voters make up about 10% of the electorate – that's nearly 580,000 voters in Arizona, 380,000 voters in Wisconsin, and 1 million voters in North Carolina. And that doesn't include voters in other crucial battleground states like Pennsylvania or Michigan. We don't have to win over all of them — we just need to reach enough and flip just enough to beat Trump. That's why I send emails like this. The more we can raise, the more voters we can reach. And I believe with my whole heart that this grassroots team will come through for our democracy.
