Jason -- My friend Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren is an unsung hero for our Democracy and the Constitution. Zoe served as a Trump impeachment manager and wrote bills to protect voting rights and curtail big money in politics. After the insurrection, Zoe served with me on the January 6th Committee to find the truth and to hold Trump and his enablers accountable. As we know, in Trumpworld no good deed goes unpunished. Earlier this year, associates of Roger Stone and others spent considerable (and unreported!) funds to beat Zoe in her jungle primary. Yes, THAT Roger Stone... who coordinated with far‑right leaders, the Proud Boys, and Oath Keepers on January 6th. The attack on Zoe was relentless with false accusations and fake news to damage her name, her record, and her character. Zoe had to spend most of her campaign funds to defend herself.
