CBS News has declared that John's one of the "best hopes of helping Democrats take control of the House." Taking back the House from Trump flunkies like Nick LaLota matters more than ever now. If we want to protect abortion rights, it starts in the House. If we want to lower the costs of living and strengthen the middle class by taking on price gougers, it starts in the House. The change Suffolk County needs – the common sense leadership our country needs – starts in the House. That's the fight we're in. You know John can win. You know John has to win. Because that's how we take back the House. If you're with us - we need you to stand with John now. It turns out a lot of people are ready to send No-Show Nick LaLota packing. And the funny thing is, Nick knows it. That's why he was desperately trying to amplify the negative attacks on John in the primary. Now that nothing stands between John and LaLota, he's already running scared. Voters want to know the choice they have in front of them, and this race is about showing the contrast between common sense leadership and MAGA extremism. John suggested a series of debates to put that contrast front and center. Of course Nick dodged the debates. You really think he'd actually appear on stage? He'd have to leave the comfort of his keyboard and actually come to the district - where he never held an in person town hall as congressman. They call him No-Show Nick for a reason. Even if Nick's dodging it - he can't escape the truth. The first freshman Congressman to endorse Trump in a Democrat-held district knows what most of America knows - he's in deep, deep trouble. As John has said the whole way, we win this race by playing offense. We win this race by defining the battlefield on key issues like immigration and the economy.
