In 2015, the Egyptian President, Abdel Fatah El-Sisi, allegedly gave Donald Trump's presidential campaign a $10 million boost, and the Washington Post discovered an FBI investigation into the transaction. But Attorney General Bill Barr, one of Trump's top allies, quashed the investigation before it could come to a conclusion. We're by no means surprised, but this shady foreign contribution is just one of many potential crimes and political chess moves Trump made during his presidency, and we believe he should be held accountable. U.S. foreign policy and aid shouldn't just go to the governments that bribe our leaders the most.
