Today is National Voter Registration Day, a sign that registration deadlines are right around the corner. And get this: Later this week, people can start casting ballots in a handful of states. This election isn't happening seven weeks from today. It's happening right now. That means the time to do critical voter outreach is not tomorrow, not next week, not after the leaves change color. It's today. The task ahead of us is daunting, but this grassroots team has taken on tough assignments before. You've never failed to rise to the occasion when it matters most. Right now, we need supporters who believe in this work to invest in it - will you sign up for a weekly recurring donation from now until Election Day to ensure we can reach our budget targets? What we raise at moments like this determines what's possible in the final weeks of this election. We have a plan to win this election. No other organization out there is focused on reaching our target audience - the voters I believe can and will decide the outcome in several battleground states. These pro-democracy voters are primed to abandon Trump, but they need to hear from messengers they trust (and not just TV ads from the Harris-Walz campaign). The data suggests that the most persuasive voices for these voters are people who've led lives of service, such as former diplomats and retired military leaders. Our team is making sure we can run an aggressive voter outreach operation in these final weeks. I hope you decide to do one of two things right now: Sign up for a weekly donation to carry us through all the way to November 5. Or make a one-time donation right now to boost our immediate voter outreach budget. This election comes down to which side wears out more shoe leather in the next 49 days. And I refuse to be outworked when the future of our democracy is on the line. Thank you for doing your part, Amy
