NYC funds abortions

We're going to tell you about the historic action Scott took on abortion access in NYC. But first, we need to let you know why your donation is so important right now:

Soon, we'll report our fundraising numbers and it's the last opportunity this year for us to qualify for NYC's 8-to-1 matching program.

If we don't meet the match, we likely won't have the resources needed to defeat Eric Adams. If you're with Scott, we need you to chip in right now.

$10 $20 $50

Abortion rights have been under attack for decades.

Ever since the Supreme Court ruled on Roe v. Wade in 1973, the far right built a movement that continually pushed for more and more restrictions on women's healthcare.

But while states across the country were passing TRAP laws and the Trump Administration was slashing federal funds for family planning and reproductive services, then-Comptroller Scott Stringer made abortion more accessible in New York City.

In 2019, Scott worked with reproductive rights and women's rights groups to push for a first-of-its-kind program to fund abortions.

At the same time? Abortion rights were under attack across the country. Trump had just installed his SECOND anti-choice Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. States across the country were attempting to end abortion as we know it by chipping away at it over and over again with TRAP laws.

But under Scott's leadership, NYC became the FIRST city in America to directly fund abortions for those who cannot afford them.

That's the kind of leadership we can expect when we elect Scott Stringer — and dump Eric Adams — as Mayor next June.

When we elect Scott, we can expand reproductive rights in NYC, make housing more affordable, and fight the climate crisis — ensuring that the greatest city on Earth is showing how we care for one another.

So, if you're able, chip in right now. Gifts from NYC donors between $10 and $250 will be matched 8X by the city. That means a $20 donation from you equals $180 for our campaign.

$20 → $180
$50 → $450
$100 → $900
$200 → $1,800
$250 → $2,250
