Republicans have even started dropping out of the race to force a partisan showdown between Mary and Nick Begich this November, betting that a head-to-head race will put the odds in their favor. But we know better! DEFEND RANKED CHOICE VOTING! 60% of Alaskans are nonpartisan, and ranked-choice voting ensures voters have MORE choices and empowers us to vote for the candidate that best represents our Alaska values. Ranked-choice voting produced one of the most popular politicians to come out of Alaska with Mary's election in 2022, and in the primary, Mary finished first with OVERWHELMING support from across the state – and that's exactly why Alaska Republicans want to tear it down.
