In case you haven't heard, I'm the Democrat running to defeat Rick Scott in Florida. I'm also an immigrant from Ecuador, a gun safety advocate, a former Congresswoman, and a proud mom.

- Rick Scott is one of the most out-of-touch senators in Washington. He wrote the plan to raise taxes on working families and end Medicare and Social Security. And he's supported a nationwide ban on abortions.
- Rick Scott only won this seat by 0.12% last time around — and he had to shell out $64 MILLION of his own money to do it. Now, recent polling shows our race is already statistically tied.
- Election experts are saying that if I win, Democrats will be virtually guaranteed to maintain our Senate majority. If not, we could easily lose control.
I know that we can win in Florida, but I'm counting on your help to compete with Scott's massive personal fortune.
