Jason,
There's one thing we should all agree on: that nobody deserves to become a victim of a crime simply because of their political beliefs.
Since the January 6th insurrection, there have been 213 instances of political violence.
That's 213 times someone thought it was justifiable to destroy, beat, and even kill because someone disagreed with their beliefs. No doubt, the upward trend in disinformation, hate speech, and dangerous rhetoric has led to this.
I am committed to fighting extremist disinformation and building a bridge of respectful collaboration between parties. The extreme polarization we're facing right now harms millions of Americans and halts any real progress.
Throughout his time in public service, Evan has defended our most vulnerable and built coalitions to deliver solutions. Now, he's running for Congress at an inflection point for Silicon Valley and the nation.
Our region needs a representative who will lead on maintaining our global competitiveness, combat hate, stand up for the vulnerable, protect reproductive freedom, reduce crime in our communities, and ensure the middle class can once again afford to buy a house and raise a family where they work.
Together, we will usher in a new era of courageous leadership for Silicon Valley.
