| Jason, I know it's tempting to wake up every day and check the latest polling. So let's all take one last look together, shall we?  *FiveThirtyEight polling averages, 10/25/24 Yep, the election got even closer since we last looked. It probably got even closer in the time it took me to write this. So here's the point: There's one week left in this election. From here on out, forget the polls. Obsessing over them won't do a damn thing to help defeat Trump (and it won't make you feel any better, either. Trust me). Instead, use what little time we have left to take on a volunteer shift. Take a few hours to make calls to swing-state voters using the Harris campaign's call tool. If you can't do that right now, chip in what you can to fund the voter outreach to pro-democracy voters who live in those seven battlegrounds — I truly believe this election hinges on how they cast their ballots. My biggest advice is not to have any regrets when we look back one week from today. Know with confidence that you did everything you could to help win the most important election of our lives.
