It's officially that part of the election cycle when the nerves take over. Many of us already have a news addiction — the next week is going to push that to new heights. The fact of the matter is, none of us can say how this election is going to go. But one thing is for certain: this will be the most important election of our lifetime. And I know we've said that a lot over the last eight years, but it's not a talking point. It's the truth. Our very democracy is on the line this November. It's not just the fact that Trump's former chief of staff came forward to tell us that Trump would often say that "Hitler did some good things, too." It's not just his open threats to use the military on his political opponents, or as he calls them, "the enemy from within." It's not just talk of mass deportations, stripping citizenship from naturalized immigrants, or a promise to be a "dictator on Day One." I've seen commentators say that all of that is overblown because Trump didn't do any of it the first time he was in office. To that I say, it wasn't for lack of trying — January 6 was an open attack on democracy itself. Sure, you can put your head in the sand and pretend this is all bluster. But in my mind, it's foolish not to believe what he repeats at his rallies and what his supporters expect him to do — especially after the Supreme Court granted sitting presidents immunity. Despite this, the presidential race continues to be neck-and-neck. Who wins on November 5 will come down to such a small number of votes in key swing states. That's why my team and I are working around the clock to reach as many pro-democracy voters as we can — the folks whose ballots will determine the razor-thin margins of victory. We've done the research. We have a plan. Now, we need your support to keep making it happen in these final days. Will you chip in now to help us continue reaching pro-democracy voters through Election Day? Your support could make all the difference. One thing is for certain
