When there's a problem, the logical next step is to propose a solution, Jason. And while New York City is the greatest city in the world, there are a lot of problems. So my solution? Run for mayor. Someone has to clean up New York to make our home safe, build more housing so people can afford to live here, and hire more cops to make sure every New Yorker feels safe in their community. With three decades of experience and a proven track record delivering results for this city, I believe I'm qualified to do just that. Look, even as a former city employee, I still face the same problems as every day New Yorkers. I ride the subway with my two sons because I fear for their safety, I call city agencies for support and end up on on hold forever, and don't get me started on the rats rummaging through the garbage. Your problems, my problems—they aren't being addressed by Mayor Eric Adams, and it's past time for change. I'm ready to reform the greatest city in the world, but I can't act alone.
