I share your alarm and anguish about the state of our economy and our democracy.
Listen, I'm a lifelong resident of Oakland County.
I'm fortunate enough that in the State Senate, I've represented half of this congressional district.
I hear from my constituents about their concerns about the state of our country. We have a president who breaks the rule of law. We have a Congress and a Judiciary that are rubber-stamping some of Trump's most authoritarian measures.
This Congress lacks disruption.
I've never been a status quo politician. I don't intend to stand by while all this chaos unfolds in our country and our community.
That's why I'm running for Congress. To deliver bold, accountable, barrier-breaking leadership to Michiganders. I've never been afraid to speak out, and I'll continue to do so in Congress.
