Last week, Texas House Republicans bent the knee to Trump and forced through gerrymandered congressional maps that drastically tilt the balance from 25-13 to 30-8 in their favor.

Let's be clear, Jason: this is voter suppression, plain and simple — an attack on democracy and especially on voters of color. Under these maps, a Hispanic Texan's vote counts for about one-third, and a Black Texan's just one-fifth, of a white Texan's.
