I know you're probably getting a ton of messages from campaigns asking for donations. As someone who also gets these messages, I understand that they may not be your favorite thing to read, so I wanted to share 5 reasons why I'm reaching out to ask for your support today: - Our current representation is failing us. From Tom Kean Jr. to the Trump Administration, our leaders are attacking science and data and ripping away the affordable healthcare and food assistance that so many New Jerseyans rely on to get by.
- I'm not a career politician. I was proud of my career and public service and never planned to run for office. But after seeing what the Trump Administration is doing to undermine the rule of law and our democracy, I knew I couldn't stand on the sidelines.
- This is a highly competitive race. National Democrats have listed NJ-07 as 1 of only 35 "Districts in Play," making it one of the top pickup opportunities in the country, and the only one in New Jersey.
- We have to flip this seat. We only need to flip three seats in the House to regain the majority and stop Donald Trump's agenda from causing even more damage to our country, and that can't be done without winning target districts like NJ-07.
- The work starts now. I know the next election feels far away right now, but we can't win next November without putting in the work and building a strong foundation for this campaign from day one.
