Yesterday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was questioned by the Senate Finance Committee about the decisions he's made as Secretary of Health and Human Services. During his testimony, he was combative and accused Senators of making things up. Here are the facts:
🔴 In his confirmation hearing earlier this year, RFK Jr said he wouldn't limit vaccines. Since then, he's issued recommendations that have made it more difficult for people to receive vaccines, with some completely unable to receive them.
🔴 He's also appointed several new members to the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, who have made controversial claims regarding COVID and the efficiency of vaccines.
🔴 After Dr. Susan Monarez, the newly appointed CDC Director, was fired by RFK Jr because she refused to break the law and distort scientific evidence, he accused her of lying, despite his continuing to back anti-vaccine theories.
