This government shutdown has made one thing crystal clear: the current administration is prioritizing politics over people.

Right now, Republicans are in power in the White House and both chambers of Congress. Instead of working together with Democrats to lower tariffs and healthcare premiums, they walked away – leaving working men and women behind.

I believe in a government that works together to best serve the American people. I believe in leadership that will put us first, not balancing the budget on our backs.

That's why I'm running for Congress: because as taxpaying citizens who fund the government, we deserve a government that works for us. Our district deserves a leader who listens to the needs of working individuals and families, not to the partisan rhetoric in Washington.
