| Jason, If you grew up watching Sha Na Na, chances are you remember Jon "Bowzer" Bauman. He showed up on TVs across the country with big energy, humor, and a sense that he was someone you could trust. For a lot of families, those moments mattered. They brought joy into living rooms at a time when people were working hard and just trying to get by. I was one of those kids watching. Years later, I came to admire Jon even more for what he did off screen. He used his voice to fight for seniors and protect Social Security, standing up to powerful interests that wanted to cut benefits people earned through a lifetime of work. At a time when too many politicians treat retirement security like a bargaining chip, Jon fought to make sure seniors were heard. Watching Jon devote himself to protecting Social Security and dignity in retirement reinforced a simple truth for me: when people step up and fight for others, real change follows. That's why I'm running for Congress. I want a government that keeps its promises, that protects people who've done everything right, and that measures success by how well working families and seniors are doing. Jon's example helped show me what that kind of public service can look like. If you want a leader who will fight for working people and seniors, will you consider contributing to my campaign today? |
