| Jason, I know you're probably receiving a ton of emails this week, and I don't take it lightly that you're opening this one. I hope you'll give me just a minute to explain why I'm reaching out. Asking for money isn't fun. It's not why I got into public service, and it's not the part of this work that I enjoy. But the truth is, it's necessary, especially in a race like ours. NY-17 is one of the country's most critical battlegrounds. If we want a Congress that defends our freedoms, protects health care, lowers costs, and stands up to extremism, then we have to win here. And right now, we're up against Mike Lawler's massive war chest—raised with help from Ted Cruz, Mike Johnson and Tom Homan, who've all been to the district in the last few months— and deep-pocketed allies ready to flood this district with dark money. I'm running because I love this district. Because as a county legislator, I know how to roll up my sleeves and deliver results that make a difference in people's lives. And because I know we can win when we stand together. So yes — I'm asking for your support today. Not because it's easy, but because it's how we build the kind of people-powered campaign that can beat Mike Lawler and flip this seat. If you're able, will you support my campaign with a contribution of any amount today before our final FEC deadline of the year? |
