Jason, If you know me well by this point in the campaign, you know that asking for money is the worst part of running for Congress. It's awkward and not at all how I was raised. But it's necessary — and because I don't accept contributions from corporate PACs, I rely even more on committed grassroots supporters like you, Jason. Tonight marks our first test of the general election, with our next end-of-month fundraising deadline. I just got off the phone with my finance team, and they tell me we are just $5,567 away. So, Jason, even though I hate to ask again, I must respectfully ask for your first $5 before midnight. Can you pitch in a contribution before closing this email? |
I'm sorry that I have to keep asking, but our district is a pure toss-up, and my opponent is anti-choice, anti-equality, and backed by corporate PACs, so there's too much on the line to not do all we can to win this seat. With gratitude & high hopes, Josh Riley |
