Pass the Inflation Reduction Act

Last week, President Biden announced a deal between Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Joe Manchin on the historic Inflation Reduction Act.

This legislation would reverse a decades-long trend of tax dodging by closing tax loopholes that have allowed corporations to get away with paying zero in federal taxes.

It would allow Medicare to take on Big Pharma and negotiate the price of prescription drugs, while capping individuals' out-of-pocket costs.

And it would invest $369 billion into renewable energy and saving our planet.

This legislation is historic, Jason, but it's not law yet.
