Long before I was the proud senator from Georgia, I grew up with 11 brothers and sisters in public housing in Savannah. Although we were short on money, our family was long on love and faith. | | 2. I'm not a senator who used to be a pastor, I'm a pastor who's serving in the Senate! As a man of faith, I believe that my impact doesn't stop at the church door – that's where it starts. | | 3. Last year, this people-powered movement defied the odds and the millions of dollars in conservative spending to flip Georgia blue. We won by just 2 points in a historic runoff election, and I became the first Black U.S. Senator in the history of Georgia. | | I'm determined to continue my work in the U.S. Senate to make sure every child can achieve their American dream just like I did. But I can't win this battle alone. The GOP is flooding this race with millions as polling shows me 1 point down. Whether I can fight back and win depends on generous grassroots supporters like you.
