Jason, Lindsey Graham has a problem:
He just can't stop breaking Senate Ethics Committee rules.
On Thursday, the bipartisan Senate Ethics Committee formally admonished Graham — their first such action in five years.
Their findings were obvious — Graham solicited campaign cash for Herschel Walker's campaign against Sen. Raphael Warnock during a Fox News interview in a federal building. That's against the rules.
What's even worse is that Graham is a repeat offender — because he did the same thing for himself while running against our founder Jaime Harrison for South Carolina's Senate seat in 2020.
It should have never gotten this far.
The Senate needs stronger ethics rules — because the lack of consequences for Graham's 2020 violation enabled him to do it again.
Add your name to Dirt Road Democrats' petition if you agree we need stronger Senate Ethics Committee rules and stronger enforcement. U.S. senators have no business playing politics in taxpayer-funded federal buildings.
This wasn't the first time Lindsey Graham broke Senate Ethics Committee rules, and with the 2024 election on the horizon, we're sure it won't be the last.
Thanks for speaking up and adding your name today.
