Hey Jason, I'm back on the farm this month with Sharla, where we'll be pulling 16-hour days in the fields now that the peas are ready for harvest. I love being a farmer. I knew I wanted to take over my family's farm since I was eight years old. It gets my hands dirty and keeps me grounded. It's tough—but it reminds me why I fight so hard for Montana's families. It also means that since I'll be working on the farm all month, I have a lot less time to fundraise than our opponents. And trust me, I hate asking for money. I know how hard you work for every dollar. But the truth is, this race will be the most expensive Senate election in Montana's history. Outside groups will pour upwards of $100 million into our state to distort my record and mislead voters. We really do need early money to combat attacks like that. So, here's the part where I ask: With farming taking up most of my time this month, we can't afford to come up short in fundraising. Could you pitch in a split donation between my campaign and Dirt Road Democrats PAC to help us make up the difference? I'm counting on this grassroots team (that's you!) in August for the resources we need to fight back >> Appreciate anything you can give. – Jon |
