The Clean Air Act's rules 111B and 111D, if implemented, would be the first-ever carbon regulations for existing power plants. These new guidelines would require coal and gas plants to cut nearly all of their emissions by 2040. This could be a huge milestone in our fight against climate change: power plants release 25% of America's greenhouse gas emissions. But corporate lobbyists and legislators in the pocket of Big Oil are hell-bent on convincing EPA to weaken the proposed regulations. Big Fossil Fuel, as usual, is more focused on lining its own pockets, rather than solving the climate crisis. We've got to push back.
