Jason, The Federal Medicaid program has already set aside federal funding to help cover the costs of Medicaid expansion in states across the country. So far, 41 states (including Washington D.C.) have seized this opportunity to expand Medicaid access and reap the benefits of these federal incentives. Unfortunately, Florida remains one of 10 states that have yet to expand Medicaid, leaving those federal dollars untouched while hard-working Floridians continue struggling to access quality and affordable healthcare. So, where are our tax dollars going? Right now, our hard-earned tax dollars are being sent to Washington and used to fund projects in other states across the country. By expanding Medicaid access in Florida, we could unlock the federal funding that's just sitting there waiting to be used and redirect our taxpayer money back into our state – but we need your help! Florida is one of the only states left that can expand Medicaid through a ballot initiative, and that's why we're working to secure the signatures we need to put it on the ballot in 2026 and let voters decide. If you're with us, Jason, will you chip in $3, $5, $10, or anything you can today? |
Every dollar counts! Florida Decides Healthcare |
