Jason, We know that one of the largest obstacles to delivering for our communities is overcoming Gov. Mike Dunleavy's veto. Right now, Alaska's public schools are facing a major teacher recruitment and retention crisis due to a lack of critical funding, which our schools need to help the next generation of Alaskans reach their greatest potential. Despite passing with overwhelming support on both sides of the aisle in the Alaska Legislature, Gov. Dunleavy vetoed a bill that would have significantly increased the BSA funding formula and given our schools the support they desperately need. With Gov.
