Last year, North Carolina became the 41st state, including Washington D.C., to expand Medicaid access–and the results speak for themself!
States that expand Medicaid access see decreased uninsurance rates, improved health outcomes, lower healthcare costs for taxpayers, and stronger local economies. Not only that, but the increased economic activity ensures that our local hospitals and healthcare providers get the support they need to continue serving our community.
Right now, 1.4 million of our friends, families, and neighbors are still waiting for that same chance!
That's why we're working to put Medicaid expansion on the ballot in 2026 and make Florida the 42nd state to expand Medicaid access and build a healthier future for ALL Floridians.
