Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies are at it again — trying to privatize the United States Postal Service and hand it over to Wall Street vultures. Their plan is to dismantle the people's post office and sell it off to the highest corporate bidder — no matter the cost to rural communities, veterans, seniors, small businesses, and everyday Americans.
We can't let that happen. Millions of Americans rely on the U.S. Postal Service for critical services, like delivery of bills, medications, and sensitive documents.
Right now, Congress has a chance to fight back by passing two bipartisan resolutions — H.R.70 and S.R.147 — that would draw a line in the sand and protect the USPS from Trump's privatization scheme.
Nearly 200 lawmakers — Democrats and Republicans — have already signed on. But we need even more voices to push this over the finish line and stop Trump's plan in its tracks. The USPS is more than just mail — it's a constitutional promise, a lifeline to millions, and one of the most trusted public institutions in America.
The stakes couldn't be higher. If Congress doesn't act now, the damage to our postal system could be permanent.
