| Today, on Juneteenth, we mark the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Americans were finally told they were free—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, but also a reminder of how long justice can take—and how far we still have to go. Real freedom means safe communities, access to health care, the right to vote, and a government that sees and supports every family. This is not the reality for everyone in America today. But it should be. As a mom and a passionate advocate, I carry these values with me every day. I'm running for Congress to help deliver on America's promise—with urgency, equity, and care. Let's honor Juneteenth not just in words, but with action. That's how change happens—one step, one vote, one act of courage at a time. Thank you for being part of this fight, Stefany |
