Right now, families across Michigan are struggling to get by and afford basic necessities. But here's what the Trump administration and Republicans in Washington have done:
❌ Proposed harmful cuts to Medicaid, which one in four Michiganders rely on for healthcare, and 39% of babies born in Michigan were paid for by Medicaid. As well as SNAP, which one in seven Michiganders relies on for food assistance.
❌ Doubled down on tariffs, which are already raising prices here in Michigan, and lowered support for our small businesses from our neighbors in Canada.
❌ Cut funding for Job Corps, affecting so many young adults across the state, where Joe has heard directly from students who were kicked out with no notice and no housing options, forcing them to live in their cars.
