| Financial disclosure laws exist to protect the people by revealing conflicts of interest and to deter Congresspeople from allowing such benefits to influence their votes.
Young Kim's failure to report these travel expenses is exactly what's wrong with Washington: too many politicians are willing to be bought out by special interests while their constituents struggle to make ends meet back home.
Our district deserves a leader who isn't bought out by special interests and puts transparency at the forefront. Plain and simple.
It's why I'm running for Congress – and why I'm not taking a single cent from corporate PACs to do it. Voters deserve to know that their leaders will listen to them, not conceal their sponsors or become beholden to the financial interests of corporations and special interests.
