Senate Republicans just voted against extending Affordable Care Act tax credits, meaning that millions of Americans will see premiums more than double, and many will lose their coverage completely.
These subsidies are the key to keeping health insurance costs within reach for millions of Americans; in 2024, they lowered average premium payments by more than 50% for marketplace enrollees. Extending these tax credits is common sense, but Republicans voted against helping millions of Americans keep health insurance.
Improving health care and making it more affordable is the cause of my life. As Republicans continue to block every effort to make healthcare and Americans' lives more affordable, I'm ready to fight with everything I've got to make sure that Americans have the care they deserve.
National Republicans are willing to do everything that they can to stop us from winning this seat. They know that if I win, we have a clear path to flipping the House and building a government that actually works for the people.
